Established in 1952, Aramco Overseas Company (AOC) is a subsidiary of the Bolanter Corporation, which itself is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saudi Aramco. Saudi Aramco is the National Oil Company of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is a world-class leading energy enterprise. The company today leads the world in crude oil production and exports, is the top exporter of natural gas liquids and is a major natural gas producer. In order to maintain its safe and reliable supply of energy to the world, Saudi Aramco operates an extensive production, refining, marketing and international shipping network. An array of joint ventures and international subsidiaries support this network all over the globe. Our mission at AOC in the Netherlands is to provide the highest level of cost-effective and timely services to Saudi Aramco and our sister affiliates to ensure they fulfill their mission. We provide Purchasing and Logistics, Inspection, Research & Development, Information Technology, Public Relations, Finance, Personnel and Human Resource services administered from the AOC headquarters in Leiden, and from our branch offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Seoul. Our area of operations is Europe, Australia, Africa, South America, the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East excluding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. AOC is the major shareholder in four Joint Ventures; S-Oil Corporation in Korea, Petron Corporation in the Philippines and TEAM Terminal BV in The Netherlands. For over 50 years, AOC has supported Saudi Aramco and its affiliates in fulfilling their mission to provide a stable, safe and reliable supply of energy to the world.
