Saudi Aramco is more than just
an oil producer; they are a fully integrated international oil company,
manufacturing and marketing an extensive range of petroleum products around the
world. With subsidiary offices in London, Leiden, Houston, New York, Tokyo and
Singapore, as well as refining and marketing joint ventures in the United
States, South Korea, the Philippines and Greece, their reach is global.
Saudi Aramco employs almost
56,000 people, among them geologists, petroleum engineers, surveyors,
laboratory scientists, inspection staff, engineering specialists, medical
professionals and teachers. As a Saudi Arabian company, the vast majority of
their employees are Saudi citizens. Yet with employees from Europe, Australia,
New Zealand, North America, the Subcontinent and the Far East, the workforce is
truly international.
Most expatriate employees live
in one of four company communities in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia: Dhahran,
Ras Tanura, Abqaiq or Udhailiyah. These communities are self-contained and
boast a wide range of facilities including supermarkets, mail centres, banks,
dining halls and snack bars, laundry and dry cleaning services, petrol stations
and a wide range of other amenities. As Saudi Aramco grows, however, employees
are being assigned to the Central and Western Regions of the Kingdom. Although
each community has its own unique character, all offer a relaxed and enjoyable
way of life in pleasant suburban surroundings.
Many jobs offer family status
contracts enabling you to bring your family with you to Saudi Arabia. Some positions
are only available on unaccompanied status due to the role or work location,
although Recruitment International will advise you of your options if your
application meets the minimum requirements.
From the modern cities of
Riyadh, Jiddah, Dammam and Al-Khobar to the more traditional oasis towns of
Al-Hasa and Qatif, you will discover a land rich not only in mineral resources,
but in cultural and historical treasures as well. Employees are also encouraged
to visit neighbouring countries including Bahrain and the Emirate of Dubai.
