Global Resources based in Aberdeen, a division of Global Highland Management Services Limited, is an organisation that provides Specialist Resource Management services to the International Oil & Gas market. The Group has been established for over 20 years and provides a comprehensive range of resource management services including Resource Management and Supply, National Accreditation Training, HR & HSEQ Consultancy and Specialist Manpower Provision.
Our International Client base consists of companies within Oil & Gas Exploration and Production, Design Engineering, Facilities Management, Drilling, Marine and Sub Sea and Oil & Gas Support Services sectors in function areas such as Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Construction & Modification and Commissioning.
With office locations in the UK and overseas, strategically developed to allow us to call upon a network of local and expatriate resources on a worldwide basis, we can ensure our services meet the challenges set out by our Clients and employees in terms of competent effective resource supply at competitive and fair market value.
Our management systems which incorporates quality, health, safety, environment, competency and training is based on the requirements of ISO 9000 series and the UK Health and Safety Executive HS (G) 65 Guidelines for effective safety management and environmental standards.
We have highly motivated and successful teams of dedicated Recruitment Professionals who are Client focused, trained in proven recruitment practices and have many years experience in all aspects of resource management supply. These teams are responsive, typically operating to stringent deadlines and always fully aware of market demand in terms of resource availability and commercial expectations of both the Client and employee.
In addition to our people we have developed a management information system which is at the forefront of modern IT technology and incorporates our processes and procedures, has direct internet and email enabling access and e-commerce facilities for payroll, invoicing, etc, affording us the ability to quickly and efficiently store, retrieve and maintain management and operational information electronically including a resources database of over 30,000 potential and current employees.
Underpinning our organisation we have a robust corporate structure responsible for providing all HSEQ, Training/Competency, HR, IT and Legislative functions in support of both our organisation, employee and Client needs. This corporate structure consists of a group of well qualified and knowledgeable individuals who constantly monitor industry best practice and/or standards, legislative or regulatory changes, and the company’s own experience and performance to ensure that the organisation applies best practice to all its operations, implement any changes through established communication channels and deliver additional training required by the organisation to effect these best practices.
