Education/ Experience/Training

· BSc. or MSc. in Microbiology, Chemistry or related discipline or Chemical Technology.

· 5 years experience in the oil field with water treatment or microbiology related experience

Skills/Knowledge

· Work in all areas of water management in the upstream chemical industry including scale inhibition, produced and waste water treatment, frac water treatment and microbiological control.

· Responding to inquires from field personnel and providing expert advice and assistance on the development of microbiological control and biocide programs for the Oil and Gas Industry.

· Communicate Baker Petrolite’s technical programs to our customers Asset Integrity Groups, Production/Technical Managers and Operations personnel in Calgary and in major field offices

· Manage and facilitate research projects to enhance Baker Petrolite’s strategic position in various Oil and Gas market segments
