The Head of Engineering supervises the activities of the Senior Architectural Engineer, the Senior Systems Engineer, the Senior Civil Engineer, and the Senior MEP Engineer, who will ensure the technical compliance and
design verification in accordance to The Company’s specifications and international codes. He manages external interfaces which are related to the project with the statuary authorities ensuring government approvals (like Q-Tel Interface, UPDA Interface, and Kahramaa Interface), and liaison with service authorities with respect to all design and technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage the activities of the Senior Architectural Engineer and the internal engineers:
o Coordinate master-planning and design specifications
o Monitor on-site quality control
o Monitor the IT, security, and communications systems
o Supervise the concept development of energy use and conservation in buildings
o Monitor the concept development of possible environmental impacts from construction
o Approve choice of construction material
• Liaise with project management consultants to ensure both commercial and technical performance
requirements are in line with project standards
• Monitor construction and on-site progress
