The Quantity Surveyor supervises contracted quantity surveyors to monitor project work and progress. Manages all costs relating to the development project in order to minimize development cost while meeting required quality
standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage all activities of the external quantity surveyors listed below:
1. Advise on budget setting
2. Provide cost advice during various design and planning stages
3. Monitor value management and engineering exercises
4. Monitor design development against plan and expenditure
5. Advise on procuring of construction services
6. Support the tender process (e.g., develop bills of quantities)
7. Participate in negotiation with contractors
8. Value construction work for interim payments
9. Monitor prepare of variation notices to advise Project Controller of potential and final cost variations
10. Monitor cost controlling during construction process
11. Monitor claim management process
