Our Client, a Major International Offshore Oil & Gas Engineering Contractor requires a Dive Systems Engineer / Dive Systems Superintendent, to work, shore based in Aberdeen. Reporting to the Project & Technical Manager, will be point of contact for diving related issues on vessels onshore and offshore

An experienced Subsea Engineer –City & Guilds or HNC or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical / Electronic Discipline
Time served apprenticeship, with substantial experience in the Diving Industry.
In-depth theoretical & practical knowledge of the subsea industry, specifically diving systems equipment & working practices
Preferably with experience in an operational role maintaining / upgrading diving systems
Skills & knowledge of:- IRM & Intervention Diving Operations; Diverless Construction Operations; Umbilical & Subsea Control Systems & Construction Diving Operations

Role will include, Provision of appropriate technical support to the Ship Manager (Asset Delivery - Point of Contact) when required
Assist in scheduling of Diving Systems Equipment repair and maintenance activities
Review equipment modification proposals
Preparing costings and schedules for upgrades and installation of new electrical and instrumentation systems to be used on the company fleet and assets
Liaise with stores or 3rd party suppliers to ensure timely forwarding of critical spares & equipment & liaise with Management System Administrator to ensure accuracy of the technical documentation
Provide new & updated procedures which reflect operational practices.
