You must possess relevant experience in the field of pensions law and you will be working with a high degree of autonomy from the outset.This is an extremely varied role affording exposure to a broad range of matters, including: Providing advice to both public and private sector clients on all aspects of pensions law. Restructuring of pension schemes. Offering advice on Inland Revenue approved schemes and unapproved arrangements. Advising on all the tax planning and corporate issues which relate to the establishment and running of incentive schemes, both for private and for public companies. Advising on corporate governance issues and providing a full service to complement the work of the colleagues in corporate finance. Clients include a number of listed companies, trustees of offshore employee benefit trusts, and a wide range of private and public companies. Organising and running workshops throughout the year and contributing to the quarterly newsletter. Person Specification: LLB degree and 3 years+ PQE. Sound academic record and evidence of previous experience gained at a reputable firm with a first-class reputation for pensions work. A desire to build on their excellent corporate client base and existing pensions and incentives practice will be important, and a proven ability to win new business will be an asset.
