The Role:
We require an experienced driller with instructional experience to take on the role of Senior Drilling Instructor/Assessor to develop and manage the Drilling Services Program. As part of a supportive team, you will manage the team of bilingual trainers who will deliver the technical curriculum at the Polytechnic and carry out on-the-job assessments in the field. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the curriculum, setting up the workshop, developing assessments and Standard Operating Procedures in order to meet all the awarding body and client requirements. Additionally you will deliver the training program as and when required and internally verify all portfolios to the agreed External Verifier and Awarding Body standards. You will also assist in the training, development and certification of training bilingual staff as NVQ Assessors.

Applicants need not necessarily be NVQ qualified assessors, but must have familiarity with and an understanding of, vocational and competency based training and assessment methods.
