Leading Scottish firm require an experienced Banking & Finance solicitor to join their respected team in Aberdeen. This role will focus predominantly on the Aberdeen market where you will be the main contact in the office for clients on banking and finance transactions principally involving oil service and Exploration and Production companies. You must possess proven experience in this area and will assume responsibility for two members of staff. Main duties and responsibilities: Advising on the full spectrum of Debt Finance including Real Estate Finance, Acquisition Finance, other Structured Finance and Project Finance.
You will be the principal point of contact for clients on banking & finance transactions principally, although not exclusively, focused on the Aberdeen market, involving oil service companies, E&P companies and general banking & finance matters.
You will work closely with others members of the Aberdeen office, as well as the Banking & Finance team.
You will have direct supervision responsibility for a trainee and a qualified lawyer.
Person Specification Substantial post qualifying experience.
Experience within Banking & Finance sector ideally leveraged finance and potentially the oil/ energy sector.
Strong academic background.
Experience of taking responsibility for individual transactions.
The ability and enthusiasm to deal with complex legal concepts.
