Working in a real-time geosteering operation control centre in Dhahran, you will use MWD, LWD, wireline and special logs to guide drilling in vertical, slanted, horizontal and multilateral development wells. You will use advanced computers, displaying real-time log data, to guide the drilling engineer in following the well plan including locating casing and coring points, updating wellbore trajectories to hit a target or stay within defined reservoir zones. You will update stratigraphic tops and be involved in updating the top-map. You will use UNIX based computers that run software such as Open-works, Stratworks, Geolog, Gocad and directional drilling softwares. From Dhahran, you will co-ordinate with drilling engineer on phone. You will also interact with reservoir geologist and engineer in real-time if well plan needs to be significantly altered. You must provide well progress report to reservoir geologist and engineer periodically. You may be involved in well planning and post-drilling well reports. You may be asked to plan weekly schedules and act as a shift supervisor. Project planning and management, report writing and presentation skills in English are essential.

Required Skills/Experience:	Education BS Geoscience. Advanced Degree Preferred Major Geology Other Acceptable Majors Petrophysics, Geophysics, Engineering Experience of industry experience with experince in reservoir charecterization, wellsite geology or geosteering. You must be an advanced user of Open-works, Stratworks, and directional drilling softwares.
