You will be responsible for maximising reserves and production and optimizing the development of a field or group of fields. You will carry out reservoir modelling and synthesis for operated fields, analysing all reservoir engineering data and incorporating it into 3D reservoir simulation models.

Experience and Education

Minimum BSc (Hons) in engineering or related discipline and preferably an MSc in Petroleum Engineering, with a track record in the UKCS oil industry as a Reservoir Engineer, preferably with an operator
Full proficiency in Reservoir simulation (both black-oil and compositional)
Full proficiency in other reservoir engineering techniques: well test interpretation, material balance, production logging, PVT analysis, and other standard reservoir engineering interpretation tools
In depth understanding of reservoir production mechanisms including IOR/EOR
Excellent communication and organisational skills will also be required along with the ability to lead a team of geoscientists
