Principal Duties and Responsibilities include:

Advise and support operations re. current / new legislation and company procedures
Liaise with clients / 3rd parties and proactively represent Company.
Assist with the promotion of a proactive Health and Safety culture.
Attend 3rd party accreditation audits and closeout meetings.
Ensure all Company operatives are working in accordance to IMS.
Identify new local IMS procedures when required and raise with HSEQ Manager.
Advise and liaise with on / offshore project management and senior reps on safety issues.
Carry out site audits and safety inspections as required.
Ensure that safe systems of work are being adhered to and sufficient risk assessments are in place.
Ensure all comments / queries from the safety meetings are discussed and actioned.
Ensure that all incidents/accidents are investigated, lessons learned shared.
Prepared to complete any necessary training as and when the company deem it necessary.
Assist with accident/incident investigation as required across the project.
Work with current Safety Coaches as required to assist continuous HSE Improvement on the contract.
Regular Dialogue with Safety Reps feeding information to onshore HSE department in a timely manner.
Focus on HSE Improvements across the Project and action as required.
