Candidate should hold an advanced degree, preferably Ph.D., in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related subject (e.g., Mechanical Engineering). The candidate should have extensive combined experience in the oil industry, academia, and/or government related to artificial lift technology. Excellence in research will be evidenced by the candidate's publications, invited presentations, patents, professional awards and honors, and professional society activities. The candidate is required to have broad experience and advanced knowledge in artificial lift selection, design, and optimization. Experience in wellbore hydraulics, well completion, and multiphase pumping is required. Extensive field experience in ESP system design, field installation, and diagnostic analysis is highly essential. Knowledge of technology limitations with vendor systems is required. Be able to use common nodal analysis programs and artificial lift design computer models. Ability to mentor young professionals is required.

Required Qualifications:	Education: MS Science, or PhD/ MS Petroleum Engineering or Chemical Engineering. Experience: Extensive experience. Extensive backgrounds in horizontal/ multilateral/ complex geometry well test analysis. Experience with open hole drill stem test tools, cased hole test tools, closed chamber test techniques. Expert user of analytical and numerical test analysis software.
