Our Client, a Major International Offshore, Subsea, Oil & Gas Engineering Contractor has vacancy for Project Engineers to work on a Vessel & Subsea Operations Project based at their Head Offices in Aberdeen. There will be some offshore work involved.

Reporting to the Project Engineering Manager, will be responsible for delivery of allocated engineering tasks in accordance with Project Engineering Plan.
Act as interface on Project Team for Client & Suppliers / Subcontractor Engineers
Completion of allocated project tasks in compliance with Engineering Standards, Safety Policies & Assurance objectives
Identify associated risks & ensure they are mitigated as far as reasonably practicable & provide updates to Project Manager for maintenance of the project risk register
Procurement of materials & services to suit project specifications & give support to other engineers when required

Experience in supervision of Design House & internal engineering resources
Detail engineering / supervision, installation engineering calculations & procedures, installation equipment specification & temporary works design / engineering
Procurement of permanent materials / subsea equipment
Specialist technical services subcontracts supervision
Preparation of installation engineering calculations & procedure documents
Technical Review, Operations Review, HIRA & Management of Change processes
Preparation of effective Task Plans & Dive Plans from procedures
Compilation of as-built dossiers

With some experience/knowledge of one or more of following areas:
Pipeline or umbilical installation & operations
Procurement, fabrication supervision & installation of reeled rigid pipeline, flexible pipe & umbilicals / power cables
Trenching engineering & offshore operations
Pre-commissioning engineering & procedure supervision & operations
Subsea tree, manifold & controls system knowledge
