Company Profile

This business is a well established integrated operator based in Western Europe but they have very a strong presence in every major oil & gas hub globally; they have a particularly strong presence within the North Sea. Advancement in exploration and production is very significant to this company as it aims to keep growing its assets in these uncertain times. A fundamental role for its European office to help achieve this growth is to appoint a talented Geologist who can be an integral part of the subsurface team.

As a senior professional you will join a highly skilled multi-disciplined team covering field development studies working on North Sea assets, in particular tight gas. You will be charged with 3D static modeling of operated reservoirs, and so clearly you will demonstrate keen technical excellence in Petrel. You will also be responsible for volumetric assessment in the recommendation of field development strategy, including the location of appraisal and development wells to senior management. Our client is predominantly focusing on developing its tight gas reserves and requires individuals to have a proven track record in producing tight gas fields.

As the role is specifically aimed for an experienced professional you will have a minimum of 10 years model building experience working for a well recognized E&P operator. This role will ideally suit a geologist who wants to play an integral part in developing tight gas basins with a company who invests heavily in the future of its staff.

Attraction and retention of professional expertise is of paramount importance to my client’s continued success, and as such they regularly review remuneration packages on offer to ensure that market leading salaries will be offered

We believe investigating alternative employment opportunities a highly personal exercise, where confidentiality is paramount. As such should your preference at the first stage be to have a discussion prior to supplying details I would welcome you to contact me on my contact details any time up to 21:00 (GMT)
