Our Client a Major International Offshore, Subsea Engineering Contractor, requires a QA/QC Advisor (Senior/Project Quality Engineer) to be based in their UK Head Offices Aberdeen. To be responsible for development of Project Quality related plans & procedures; support & coordination of project & tender Quality-related activities; Project Supplier Audit/Visit Reports; Project Quality Reports and Support of ad-hoc Quality related activities.
A role for a Senior Engineer with a Project Quality Control background, not purely a QC inspector

Candidate should have over 5 years experience in Oil related industries; Construction/Mech Hydraulic; Pressure Vessel activities; Overview of Supplier Quality issues; & preferably be experienced in Metallurgical/Welding Discipline & of working in a Project Management Team environment.
Experience of Procedural writing; Quality Control processes; & Quality/Inspection & Test Planning also essential. Preferably with external audit experience.

Candidates without previous Oil Industry experience might be considered, if sufficient appropriate Quality Control engineering experience elsewhere.
