Our client is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer The Sales Engineer will be involved in the multimillion pound negotiations for a wide range of products including Remote Operated Vehicles (ROVs) and manipulator systems. The Sales Engineer will be re-sponsible for selling products build with the highest level of technology, expertise, and innovation. This position will be required to liaise with our multi-discipline project teams in order to provide detailed tech-nical proposals. This position reports to the Commercial Manager. Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships. Respond to RFQs and generate technical proposals. Generate new sales opportunities. Attend meetings with prospective customers for contract negotiations. Perform product and company presentations. Provide support to existing customers with spare parts requirements. Set-up and attend Exhibitions and trade shows. Provide guidance to the Sales Administration team. Maintain awareness of market trends. Liaise with the Marketing department to continually improve customer perception. RequireD: Demonstrated ability to work on their own initiative in order to meet our customers high expec-tations and demands. Technical ROV background or understanding of ROV industry is essential. Skilled in technical writing and proposal creation. Strongly motivated to meet deadlines. Well organized and attention to detail. Willingness to travel (international). Experience with offshore and international travel advantages. Intermediate to advance skills with MS Office software suite. Excellent written and verbal communication and people skills. Preferred Requirements Experience with international business / markets. Subsea technical experience. Three (3) or more years of technical sales experience. RFQ experience.
