Our Client, a Major International offshore contractor in the oil & gas industry, active in Offshore Transportation & Installation, Pipeline & Subsea Construction, urgently require a Contract Advisor to work in the Commercial, Legal Dept at their Surrey based Projects Offices.

The Contract Advisor's role will be to manage & coordinate the contracting activities during the Pre-project, project bidding phase.
This will include: Analyzing the tender; Contract documents; Preparing the summary of key contract conditions & review; Qualify or amend tender documents; Analyze and/or prepare cooperation agreements, partnerships, joint ventures etc.; & participate in the negotiation & formulation of contracts & cooperation agreements with clients & partners.

Candidates should have a legal background, & experience within the Oil & Gas engineering industry (onshore or offshore)
Must have experience in assisting & advising in the interpretation of contractual clauses & the preparation of legal opinions in case of litigations & for the stipulations of subcontracts
Ideal candidate will have approx 3 years appropriate experience & knowledge of "pre-signature" project contracts.

NOTE This role will NOT involve procuring services & is not a role for Sub-Contract Engineer or Contracts Manager, will require appropriate legal skills & experience.

Candidates will be considered on either a staff or contract basis.
