I have an unmissable opportunity for an ambitious Reservoir Simulation Engineer who is looking to develop a long-term career with one of the pioneers of deepwater exploration and production. The client I am representing has deepwater assets spread across the globe and their focus within the Gulf of Mexico is to grow production from existing fields and acquire new assets for an aggressive exploration campaign. They have ordered a fleet of state-of-the-art drilling units and set aside an impressive budget to facilitate success. Clearly they will need a very talented team to deliver on this strategy and I am therefore looking to source an experienced Reservoir Engineer for an immediate start. The incumbent will take responsibility for creating deepwater oilfield simulation models using Eclipse software, evaluating development proposals and generating and maintaining reserves estimates. Efficient field management will be undertaken using OFM software, with recommendations made for the most suitable depletion methods and enhanced oil recovery techniques to deliver optimal returns. This role will most suit a talented Reservoir Engineer who is ready to step up and deliver at a market-leading company. The successful candidate MUST be fully authorized to work in the United States and is likely to have 5-8 years of experience in the industry. Applicants must have completed at least one deepwater simulation project, preferably in the GOM and be able to demonstrate expertise in using OFM and Eclipse software. My client is offering a very attractive salary package to reward a suitably talented individual and excellent career prospects. This is a brief outline of the position. Our methodology is based on absolute transparency and if your initial preference is to gain more information prior to committing your interest, I welcome you contact me on the details below anytime up to 21:00 (GMT)
