This will be a rotational role (44/29). The job role requires the following:Coaching: Give day to day guidance and active coaching to a group of National Operators in one of the asset teams particularly on HSE critical activities. Actively facilitate the transfer of learning and best practices to the Operators assigned to the incumbent. Ensure the assigned Operators receive the correct class room training in a timely fashion. Monitor the effectiveness of the On the Job training scheme delivered and ensure improvement opportunities are communicated. To take part in learning assurances reviews with the relevant and functional personnel so that the training and development programme continuously improves. Together with On Job trainers conduct formal learning evaluations to gauge the effectiveness of on job training. Identify and recommend specific equipment (vendor) training needs for the staff. Propose improvements to operating procedures and HSE requirements and support delivery of improved documentation. Carry out staff competence assessments. Asset Accountabilities: Execute Field Maintenance activities in accordance with maintenance schedule / plan. Execute non-routine / breakdown maintenance activities. Troubleshoot abnormalities arising in the plant and oilfield equipment. Execute all assigned work tasks in line with agreed plant operating philosophies and in line with current Maintenance Craft Procedures and work practices. Report to Maintenace Supervisor on status of daily activities and work progress. Assist Maintenace Supervisor to control and plan work activities. Interface with other maintenance / service department staff to coordinate breakdown / routine maintenance work on facilities and plant. Signatory for Permit to Work activities within area of responsibility - as licensed and advised by Supervisor. Where applicable, provide input into the 90 day and the 14 day planning cycles. Give guidance to Assistant or Trainee Technicians in the team - to aid their development. Take effective action to control emergencies and contain hazards within area of responsibility. HSE Accountabilities: Accountable for ensuring implementation and adherence to the requirements of the HSE management System and specific accountabilities Ensure HSE systems are in place before starting a job, ensure proper use of tools and PPE, conduct regular site visits, advise co-workers on potential hazards, check safety equipment, notify management of unsafe working conditions, report HSE incidents, actively participate in HSE meetings, action the Asset HSE plan and attend mandatory HSE courses.
