Company Profile
• Ensures all electrical systems and equipment on the rig is maintained to a high operational standard and supervises the safe operation of the rig’s Maintenance Department.
• Through observation, records, and inspections, ensures that all electrical equipment and systems meet regulatory and Company’s requirements.
• Ensures all maintenance is performed in accordance with the Company policy and procedures, equipment manufacturer’s recommendations, the Rig Operating Manual, and regulatory requirements and codes.
• Maintains updated electrical drawings.
• Makes decisions on repair priorities.
• Initiates analysis and identifies the root causes of failures on rig equipment and systems.
• Performs troubleshooting and repair of equipment, directly or through subordinates.
• Performs daily visual inspections of equipment and diagnoses actual and potential malfunctions; ensures potential hazards and abnormal operating conditions are addressed quickly, and that any deteriorating conditions are reported to the Toolpusher or Rig Superintendent.
• Ensures electrical maintenance, operation, and repair records and documentation are kept accurate and up to date.
• Monitors electrical equipment logs to ensure operating and maintenance standards are maintained.
• Oversees implementation of the Preventative Maintenance System (PMS) for the rig, and maintains relevant PMS records; monitors the quality and timeliness of preventative maintenance; Generates Maximo.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi annual and annual inspections & maintenance as set forth in the preventative maintenance program.
• Entries on permits, isolation tags & logs accurately reflect current status of equipment.
• Reviews equipment and spare parts inventories to ensure adequate and accurate inventory; investigates and resolves discrepancies.
• Requisitions of spare parts, tools, and materials.
• Ensures adherence to safety and maintenance policies and procedures.
• Participates and promote Safety Training Observation Program.
• Participates in the weekly and operational safety meetings.
• Develops and implements Job Safety Analysis and prepares hazard assessments as required.
• Participates in drills as a member of the rig’s Emergency Response Group to advise the Person-In-Charge on the technical aspects of any emergency situation

Required Skills/Experience:
Must have expereicne in SCR,MCC, VFD, AC,DC motors,Mud Pump, Air Condition, Communication , Power cabling Distribution, Lighting & Refrigeration & Camp side Electrical work must be having a experience on rigs.
Required Qualifications:
Must be having a HNC or HND in electrical stream.

5 years

10 years
