Our client offers a diverse portfolio of engineering support services and products to the upstream and downstream oil and gas markets throughout the world. They are looking to recruit a Marine structures & systems Integrity Engineer to work as part of a dedicated team in a client-facing role. • Creation of workscopes and strategies for offshore inspection, including laising with NDE specialists on suitable NDE techniques • Summary reporting of completed surveys and anomaly assessment • Assessment of structural components/systems (floating offshore structures) • Recommending methods for repair for the above systems • Management of structural inspections personnel • Offshore attendance, travel to clients offices and facilities as required A degree in a marine engineering subject, together with experience in the marine or O&G industry is required and the candidate would be expected to work towards, or already be a chartered engineer. Good communication skills and the ability to deal face to face with clients and contractors, etc, are an essential part of this position.
This is a challenging position that would suit someone wishing to broaden their understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of offshore floating structures.
