Responsibilities:
• Develop strategic plans, management system & operational procedures for our Group’s Offshore & Marine shipyards located in Asia Pacific region.
• Overall responsible for Offshore and Marine Engineering for the Group to encompass newbuilding, conversion, fabrication, repairing, construction and engineering.
• Lead the management team to achieve competitive cost, on-time delivery and high quality and innovative products.
• Synergize all of the company’s shipyards operation and resources across geographical locations through integral strategic operations.
• Manage and maintain good relationship with our joint-venture partners while ensuring our company’s investment interest is being met.
• Perform budgeting of capital expenses, equipment and manpower requirements for the shipyards.
• Ensure optimum utilization and maintenance of yard facilities and equipment for effective cost control.
• Responsible for securing newbuildings and shiprepair contracts through marketing, networking and responding to enquiries so as to meet performance targets.
• Review of quotations and cost estimates and strategizing technical proposals to ensure tender bids are comprehensively estimated and submitted as per the tender requirements.
• Oversee the improvement, implementation & compliance of Group’s HSSE standards for all shipyards.
• Ensure compliance of shipbuilding quality standard, requirements of the classification rules and statutory
bodies.
