Our client in Aberdeen is an established provider of verification, certification and classification services that support and enhance asset construction and modification. They are currently looking for Project Engineers with a background in oil & gas engineering to work as part of a dedicated team in a client-facing role.Reporting to the Manager - CESD Projects, the main responsibilities are as follows: To support the Manager - CESD Projects in the delivery of verification, certification and classification services in accordance with Project Contract requirements. Act as Focal Point for the coordination and management of verification, certification and classification projects. Ensuring adequate arrangements are in place to protect the safety and well-being of the project team. Issue instructions and technical resources designated to the project team who deliver all aspects of services to clients for assigned projects. Responsible for budget and overall service delivery for all aspects of assigned projects. Monitoring project invoicing and approval of invoices prior to issue to client. Coordination with Invoicing and Planning function for assigned projects for both set-up and reporting. Coordination of activities of technical resources assigned to project to ensure consistency and quality of service delivery to clients and consistency of interface with technical groups. Acts as single point of contact for client and manages client relationship. Responsible for implementation of assigned projects in accordance with Global procedure for Oil & Gas project management, including :- Issue of Project Specific Work Instructions and Detailed Work Instructions. Creation and maintenance of project plan, including schedule. Budgetary and progress reporting to Projects Manager and Client. Maintenance of document control database (DCS) for assigned projects. Maintenance of records, filing, archiving etc in accordance with common procedures. Coordination with Technical Group(s) & Operations Group Managers and local offices regarding resource planning.

Required Skills/Experience:
|
A degree in an engineering or scientific discipline Proven track record of experience in an engineering environment, oil and gas industry and design & construction assurance and verification experience. Planning/project control experience. You will also need good communication skills, including technical report writing; the ability to work to tight deadlines and adaptability
