Tender Manager Subsea Systems - GE Oil & Gas Drilling & Production Systems

Provide commercial leadership and direction and be the key interface between business units, suppliers and management across a variety of EPC commercial initiatives and business opportunities.

• Manage commercial team to provide formal response to EPC Tender and negotiate eventual order
• Schedule and chair all internal meetings related to Tender including bid kick-off meetings, commercial reviews, technical reviews, finance reviews, and safety reviews
• Provide single point of contact between VetcoGray commercial team and customer for all communications in pre-qualification through clarification process
• Compile and evaluate costs, pricing, commercial and technical risks
• Obtain guidance and approvals for all deviations to VetcoGray standard offerings
• Create commercial R2 and RRC submittals in order to gain executive management approval for Tender submittals
• Respond to all customer clarifications post Tender submittal
• Finalize project schedule and capacity charts
• Own all processes from opportunity identification to delivery of tender to customer
• Prepare order handover package to project management, engineering, and manufacturing teams


Status: Staff
Required Qualifications: • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college
• Experience in the O&G Subsea industry, preferably in a commercial leader or project management role
• Effective oral and written communication
• Strong presentation skills.
Desired Qualifications: • Technical experience with VetcoGray subsea products
• Experience leading or participating on a Tender opportunity team
• Understanding of VetcoGray Full Cost Models and financial reporting
• Black Belt certified
