Position Summary This position is a key member of the Process Engineering team within the Production and Optimisation function. The jobholder will be responsible for providing specialist process engineering and trouble-shooting support across the function. You will be responsible for ensuring that process engineering design, standards, material specifications and operating procedures at the LNG complex are carried out in accordance with sound engineering principles and practices; to promote a safe operating environment and optimise performance.
Key Accountabilities The successful candidate will provide engineering expertise and guidance on process operations and Instrumentation controls and ensure assets are utilized and/or modified safely and in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
You will coach, mentor and develop the Team of Process Engineers.
You will be responsible for ensuring Trains are performing at Optimal Performance within established operating constraints by monitoring plant and equipment performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
To Participate in the analysis of equipment and system failures and be accountable for some aspects of the Process Engineering OPEX Budget.
Key to the role will be ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the technical and economic requirements in conformance to the company's strategy and safety regulations.
You will be required to provide engineering advice and support to all departments in the organisation especially with regard to project, non-routine, recurrent and systemic problems and issues. Also providing input in the areas of process plant design, operation and maintenance, technical guidance and support on operations systems design, control strategy for operating plants and plant equipment failures in general.
In addition Key Accountabilities for the role will be :
• Participation in the designs and controls the implementation of major engineering modifications to the plant and equipment in accordance with the Management of Change process.
• Conducting process simulations utilizing differing conditions to investigate system steady state and dynamic response in order to develop proactive troubleshooting and diagnostic procedures so that production disruption is minimized and that safe operating conditions are maintained.
• Monitoring plant and equipment performance by reviewing production, loss production and maintenance reports. Identifies and implements opportunities for improvement. • Ensuring that projects are carried out according to Atlantic's project manage- ment processes and all reporting guidelines are met.
• Closing out RCFA, Insurance, Shareholder and other Audit Action items.
• Developing site specific engineering specifications and providing guidance and quality assurance in the procurement of materials, equipment and services to ensure conformity with sound engineering practice and cost effectiveness.
• Facilitation of Process Hazard Analyses, Risk Assessments and other formal hazard assessments.
