Plans for expansion have led to the need to appoint a Mechanical Fitter in the Aberdeen workshop.Duties include, ¨ Carrying out the assembly/refurbishment of components to the requirements stipulated on the route sheets. Carrying out pressure testing to the approved standards. Preparing documentation in line with company legislation policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner and in line with company health and safety guidelines/policies. Carrying out fault finding on subsea schematic drawings. Carrying out Third party toolbox talk. The successful candidate will be apprenticeship trained or with several years experience with core competencies completed. Extensive hydraulic and subsea equipment knowledge. Assessed as competent in the operation of Forklifts and Cranes, Mechanical handling (LOLLER) and Manual handling and associated HS&E training /awareness Product knowledge is essential for this role, therefore the candidate must have previous expereince working as a Mechanical Fitter or Technician within a subsea company.
