Main Purpose/Scope of the Job The role of Principal Process Engineer will involve taking responsibility for process engineering, project management and execution of studies/projects to meet the technical and commercial expectations of the company and the delivery of projects Key Areas of Responsibility Preparing Basis of Design documents (BODs) front-end studiesOverseeing design and engineeringensuring that the engineering work is progressing to scheduleParticipating in business developmentLiaising with clients to establish scopes of work and prepare proposals for projectsLeading process and multi-discipline study teams in the execution of projectsProviding technical direction and supervision of junior engineersEnsuring effective delivery of individual projects;Providing input to building and running simulation modelsProviding input to estimates and proposalsCarrying out screening studies and developingCarrying out process simulations and optimisation studies for selected projectsProviding process engineering input during all design phasesReviewing process design work carried out by third partiesInternal resourcing, staff management, project scheduling and reportingContributing to bids, proposals, client presentations and marketing activity.Leadership, mentorship and coordination of intermediate and junior process personnelExecute Feasibility Studies / Conceptual Design / Process StudiesProcess simulations & modeling of oil processing facilities.Developing and stamping of key design documents (Material Balance, PFD�s, P&ID�s,Shutdown Keys)Line sizing; PSV sizing; Preparation of equipment process data sheets.
