SUMMARYAs the Senior Planning Engineer you will work within the core team on civil (Engineering & Construction) projects leading the planning function and looking at how projects can be delivered in accordance with the contract programme. You will also be involved in the initial bidding and tendering stage for EPC Projects PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES You will be responsible for providing a complete planning and scheduling service to both project and corporate management for all project and proposal activities. Establishing the requirements of each project with regard to scope of services, organisations, job specific procedures and planning & scheduling requirements in conjunction with the assigned project manager. Regularly reviewing the planning and scheduling of work on current projects to ensure that activities are effectively planned, resourced and completed. Maintaining a working environment within the planning and scheduling group which is conducive to both self motivation of staff and opportunities for career development. Keeping close liaison with client personnel to maintain satisfactory working relationships and identify potential problem areas. Maintaining awareness of major client requirements for planning and scheduling services.
