The learning Coordinator's primary responsibility will be to assist Trainees, their Coaches and Line Staff in; designing, planning, coordinating, and where necessary, the execution of training and assessment activities, primarily for ELS staff, in conjunction with Line, CT and HR staff. To implement and maintain policy, practice and procedures associated with workplace learning. The activities of the incumbent should positively contribute to 'Quality ' and aid departments and or operational areas in meeting Strategic targets through the appointment of Nationals. The successful candidate will have operational experience of which operating in a training or development role would be required. The above experience should preferably be obtained in the Oil and Gas Industry but alternative experience in similar environments would be acceptable. GCC experience is highly desirable. Required to be fluent in English, with basic skills in Arabic would be desirable. HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline supplemented by a Certificate or Diploma in Training and Development. Knowledge of Workplace learning (WPL) systems would be essential. An appropriate award in 'Workplace Assessment' would be desirable.
