My client, a joint venture company in Russia, is now looking to employ an HSE Manager to champion HSE initiatives and encourage best practice and continuous improvements throughout the business.Main responsibilities:
Provide advice, guidance and information to the Management team on HSE issues
Create, maintain and enhance effective HSE policies and procedures
Monitor the effective implementation of the HSE Management System
Liaise with vessel owners and clients in HSE matters
Monitor operations and ensure adequate respons to them in HSE issues
Supervise, follow up, inform and train permanent and contract staff Qualifications:
Minimum NEBOSH Certificate/International Certificate. Working towards NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years experience in a similar role
A good understanding of health, safety and environmental legislation
Strong leadership skills, drive and commitment
Ability to communicate at all levels
Marine experience beneficial
Able to speak Russian
