Petroleum People are currently working with one of the world’s largest Oil and Gas Companies to source the expertise of a Senior Deepwater Drilling Engineer to be based within their European office.

This is a company with a results driven attitude that is looking to reciprocate their previous global successes and continue to prove themselves as a true E&P leader and as such they are looking to add the expertise of an experienced Deepwater Drilling Engineer to help drive their ventures forward.

You will be a very technically orientated professional, have a methodical approach to your work and have a solid background in Deepwater endeavours. As an experienced Drilling Engineer you will be required to develop well plans and well designs, write risk assessments, approve hazard surveys, and write well reports as well as providing technical support to the team. Contracts management and well data analysis are required as is input with regards tenders and scope of works.

This position will ideally suit a Degree Educated Drilling Engineer with at least 12 years international Operator experience, 5 of which must be from Deepwater assignments.
