Company Profile



• To manage the Department in executing the long term and yearly operational plans to provide the required contribution to the achievement of the company’s objectives. • To communicate Company’s and the Department’s objectives and business context to ensure alignment and common understanding of the objectives (including the HSE objectives). • To delegate and supervise the implementation of performance objectives for the Department based on single point accountabilities as well as to establish monitoring mechanisms in order to ensure that these objectives are delivered. • To manage the budget, tools and human resources of the Department to achieve the objectives in an effective and cost-conscious manner. • To identify gaps in staff competencies and to pursue opportunities to develop them by coordinating with the Organization Capability Division to establish a competent workforce driving for improvement with special attention to UAE Nationals and to support Company in achieving the Emiratization targets. • To supervise the development and effective application of legal and insurance related policies, processes and procedures to ensure compliance with UAE legal requirements, terms of the JV Agreement and other agreements, and insurance guidelines given by the Comapany Management and Shareholders. • To provide assistance to the Board Secretary on the legal aspects of his duties and to ensure the related company’s documentation is properly maintained. • In coordination with ADNOC GRMD, to review the insurance requirements, recommend an appropriate coverage and arrange the approved coverage to ensure that Company is sufficiently safeguarded against the risks identified. • To provide advice, expertise and proactive follow-up on legal and insurance matters (including contract and tender negotiations, litigation and arbitration proceedings) to Company Divisions to ensure that the company’s insurance and legal interests are effectively represented in all agreements. • To coordinate relationships with appropriate departments at ADNOC and legal authorities in the country to remain up-to-date on changes and developments in regulations and policies. • To supervise the consistent documentation of legal and insurance related matters to ensure that company records are retained for reference and as per legal requirements in a structured and easy to access manner.
