The Commercial Manager shall be responsible for carrying out and managing all the Tendering and Contracting activities of exploration and production in 2-3 blocks in Ukraine being operated by our client in accordance with client’s tendering & contracting procedures. He/She shall be also responsible for overseeing the Logistics and Warehousing activities.

The Commercial Manager shall be responsible for coordinating with the indenters for facilitating procurement activities including freezing the indent, issuing inquiry/ tenders, complete evaluation, issuing PO’s/ Contracts after seeking appropriate approval and follow-up and supervision till the delivery is done or services are provided.

Applicants should ideally have;

• Extensive experience in tendering and procurement activities in oil and gas sector out of which soem of experience must be in exploration and production Operating company
• Knowledge of tenders/ contracts of Seismic Work, Drilling Rig, Drilling Support Services, Vessel contracts, construction
• Should be proficient in both English and Ukrainian languages
• Preferably having work experience in Ukrainian oil and gas operating company
• Extensive experience in floating inquiries of complex high value agreements
• Extensive experience of the post-contract management of complex high value agreements
• Experience/ Exposure to Warehousing/ Logistics shall be an advantage
• Strong negotiation skills with vendors at senior level.
• Some management experience of procurement team.
• Post Graduate (Engineering degree would be advantage)

The Applicant, on successful selection:

Shall be based in Kiev, Ukraine and report to CEO
May have to undertake reasonable business travel in connection with procurement activities
