Grassroots LPG plant at the Hassi Massaoud oil and gas complex, central Algeria, 900 km to the south east of Algiers.

The plant will be the third LPG plant in Hassi Massaoud, and will produce 8 million cu.m./d of LPG.

The gas will be sourced from Hassi Messaoud oil field and transported to the LPG complex in Arzew for export. Saipem of Italy will build the 550 km LPG pipelines (GL1Z and GL2Z) between Hassi Messaoud and Arzew.
