Due to a new phase of project our client is now seeking and looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to be located offshore in Kazakhstan on a rotational basis.

The purpose of the post will be to provide electrical engineering technical expertise and management support to the EP Offshore Hook-up and installation of the project.

The job holder is responsible for:
- Carry out technical supervision of Construction Contractors during the execution of the Hook-up and Installation/activities and ensure the quality works according to the contract requirements.
- Ensure a smooth and effective transfer of data and information between Contractors.
- Provide technical support on the engineering, constructability, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems of other disciplines.
- Advise on electrical equipment standardization, availability and sparing philosophies.

You will demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by following Kazakhstan Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations.

It is essential that you have a degree in Electrical Engineering. You will be fluent in English. You will have extensive electrical engineering management experience in off-shore oil and gas. Project front end engineering, detailed design, delivery and operation.

- Experience in design and operation of high H2S content facilities with stringent requirements in terms of HSE.
- Experience in Former Soviet Union and/or Caspian Area would be an advantage.
- A previous similar company role, especially in managing and interfacing with Major Contractor will be recommended.
