Company Profile
Our client, a global oil and gas service company, are looking to appoint a business manager with previous experience of managing a large team of multi-disciplined engineers, project coordinators and customer service staff.
This a challenging role requiring excellent people management skills and the ability to development and implement policies and procedures to ensure customer orders are delivered on time and on budget. With full profit and loss responsibility for the business segment the successful candidate will require strong commercial acumen, the ability to negotiate contracts and forecast future business requirements. Externally the General Manager will be responsible for working closely with the organisations clients to understand their needs and ensure manufacturing plans are in place.
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous Engineering / Manufacturing Experience.
Degree or extensive industry experience.
Strong management Style and the ability to deal with conflict.
The ability to develop and mentor employees.
First Class Presentation and Communication Skills.
