To provide electrical engineering technical expertise and management support to the EP Offshore Hook-up and installation of the Kashagan Project. The job holder is responsible for Hook-up Contractor’s electrical performance and related engineering activities for offshore installation/hook-up phases of the project. The job holder is responsible for: • Carry out technical supervision of Construction Contractors during the execution of the Hook-up and Installation +activities and ensure the quality of the works according to the contract requirements. • Ensure a smooth and effective transfer of data and information between Contractors (in the event of Contractor change from Phase to Phase) and from the Contractor to employer. • Provide technical support on the engineering, constructability, operation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems to other Disciplines • Advise on electrical equipment standardization, availability, and sparing philosophies

Status:	Contract
Required Skills/Experience:	• Fluent English. • Minimum of ten years electrical engineering management experience in off-shore oil and gas. Project front end engineering, detailed design, delivery and operation. Include all aspects of electrical engineering (hazardous area identification, earthing calculations, short circuit calculations and stability, transient start up, electric power generation/transmission systems etc.). • Experience in design and operation of high H2S content facilities with stringent requirements in terms of HSE. • Experience in Former Soviet Union and/or Caspian Area would be an advantage. • A previous similar company role, especially in managing and interfacing with major Contractor will be recommended.
Desired Skills/Experience:	• Good technical, interpersonal and team-working skills. • Full understanding of importance in planning and executing projects. • Proactive approach to decisional process (in the pertinent discipline) • Working knowledge of all relevant discipline codes and standards • Good communication skills both verbal and written. • Conversant with the standard computer software packages.
Required Qualifications:	• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
