QUALIFICATIONS
o Degree in Production, or process engineering discipline.
o 10 + years of production operations experience, with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience within the Oil & Gas industry.
o Experience of safety management systems, procedures and emergency response duties.
o Supervision, of the multi-skilled operations team in the execution safe and efficient production and processing operations within the assigned area of responsibility.
o Appropriate formal technical qualifications, computer literate and fluent in English.

Role
To ensure a safe, cost effective, environmentally compliant and effective operational performance and integrity of the installation, its facilities and personnel in order to deliver hydrocarbon exports in accordance with statutory and company standards and requirements.
Primary point of contact and liaison with the Maintenance team and Well Intervention and Drilling contractors.
Co-ordinate and control routine operations of the facilities, including the facilities start-up, shutdown, testing and

Duties
o Sound technical knowledge of the facilities, systems, equipment and processes.
o Complete knowledge of the facility support service requirements and contracts, as well as technical knowledge regarding the deliverability of the service.
o Strong interpersonal and management skills.
o Strong HSEQ background and regulatory knowledge regarding the implementation and/or compliance with the various policies and standards.
o Awareness and understand of all legislative, statutory and company standards and requirements relevant to the installation.
o Fulfill the role of Competency Assessor for the Operations group.
o Team business planning, reporting and performance management.
o Ensure the team has appropriate skills and resources including personnel, process and tools to meet the business objectives.
o Lead the establishment of common processes within the BMS and promotion of the BMS within the team
o Development, planning, organization and coordination of the production operations group activities including tools, materials, and logistics and support services.
o Management and enforcement of the HSEQ policies and PTW system, requirements, and precautions for the facility.
o Responsible for the adjusting, optimizing &/or balancing of the process in order to achieve and improve production targets with minimal environmental impact, within the published management and HSEQ policies and guidelines.
o Monitor and audit the relevant production records, registers, and log books and generate the required reports for management.
o Application of Crisis Management tools and techniques to:
- Evaluate situations and anticipate needs
- Maintain communications
- Delegate activities to those most suited to deal with them.
- Recognise and deal with stress in himself and others
o Enforcement of the HSEQ policies and PTW system, requirements, and precautions within the Operations
o Assist the planning, coordination and execution of shutdown programmes and the implementation of safety procedures and practices.
