JOB OBJECTIVE:To preliminary provide technical support for operations and maintenance of all
operational equipment and systems at the rig to ensure reliability and integrity of such
equipment and systems which support uninterrupted performance and higher
productivity.
To provide practical support for rig specifications, documentation, time analysis, down
time control, equipment specifications and contracts.
To supervise Drilling Engineer’s day to day work and give guidance.
Description:
1- Rig Specifications are to be arranged and updated and all supporting documentation is to be
concerned with industry standards
2- Filing of Industry specifications under API, IADC, IWCF, ABS, DNV, etc.
3- Assistance of Mechanical maintenance jobs are in line with the initial scope of work
4- Review of technical recommendations made
5- Check that all rig machinery and tools remain in compliance of client requirements according to
contract.
