My client is a specialist marine, offshore and engineering consultancy. Due to a continued demand for their services, they are looking for a Senior Subsea Specialist to be based in their London Office with occasional site work on our worldwide oil and gas projects. Office-based work consists of a variety of project management, analysis, technical review and marine warranty.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
Loadout, transportation and installation of pipelines, umbilicals, subsea structures, fixed platforms and floating vessels
Offshore moorings
Vessel stability and motions
Litigation technical support (expert witness).
Site and offshore work includes approval of marine operations, vessel structural and suitability surveys.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Degree qualified in naval architecture, structural / civil / subsea engineering or similar.
At least ten years experience of relevant project-based work, preferably with a subsea installation / design contractor or other consultancy firm.
A good communicator, with particular skills in project management, coordination of project teams, tendering, and technical reporting.
Able to lead a small team as well as work independently to tight deadlines and budgets.
