Location Qatar Basic £40 - £48K (+ Location uplifts) Contract, Project Hire Duration 6 months minimumOur Client, an International Petrochem & Oil & Gas Industry Contractor, requires a PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER WITH COMMISSIONING EXPERIENCE to work on their Major GTL Project in Qatar. A Control Systems Engineer, with commissioning experience, who will be reporting to the CSS Manager on site QUALIFICATIONS:- · Previous Process Control Engineering experience including P&ID development and control scheme design, alarm management / philosophies, Trip & Alarm schedule generation, C&E generation, control narratives generation, HAZOP attendance. · Site Commissioning experience required · Petrochem / oil / gas Process Plant experience · Degree qualified Chemical or Instrumentation Engineer ROLE:- The GTL Commissioning team handling the Utilities complex at job site, require an additional engineer to help prepare technical Functional testing specification documentation. This documentation will be used to support the commissioning and the selected Engineer will work in the field / control room directing the functional testing as part of a team of Commissioning Engineers. Detail control knowledge and experience is required to work in this area, so as to be able to incorporate and correctly interpret Engineering data and equipment vendor document data. The position offers the opportunity to address the full range of utilities plant including water preparation, treatment, steam generation, power generation using steam and gas turbines, waste heat boiler generation. Contract for minimum 6 months Basic rate negotiable depending on experience (£40 - £48K) plus generous location uplifts
