Job Description/Requirements:

Professional knowledge in occupational hazards and safety precautions, in first aid procedures and safety/risk management concepts.

Ability to identify general safety hazards, to provide instructions for individuals.
Computer skills.
Interpersonal skills.
Monitoring the overall safety procedures in the company/Project; which include ensuring equipment safety and professional clothing compliance.
Periodic maintenance of the fire extinguishers and inspecting them so as to be always ready for sudden use.
Checking sites and constant monitoring of their security and safety in a daily manner.
Examining potential unsafe working conditions and providing corrective actions.
Keeping abreast of the latest developments in safety procedures and equipment. Inspects equipment, tools, and working conditions to ensure safety of workers engaged in construction of overhead and underground power lines.
Inspects safety belts, ladders, ropes, rubber goods, and tools and replaces those not meeting safety requirements.
Observes crews at work and reports laxity in safety precautions, such as failure to use goggles, rubber gloves, and other safety devices.
Examines conditions of ditches and tunnels and recommends use of braces to prevent cave-ins endangering workers.
Investigates accidents to determine causes and devises preventive measures.
Instruct workers in use of safety equipment and safe work methods.

Diploma in a related field.
Extensive previous experience.
