Scope of Responsibilities

• Site surveys and studies of electrical equipment against supplied WOs.
• Technical support to clients operational personnel

Primary Duties

• Electrical Engineer will be a member of a small field team interfacing with the clients site based personnel, providing essential field data that will be used to make up work orders / work instructions to enable client’s home office to carry out the specified engineering work.
• Activities might typically include site surveys, production of As Built drawings, review of IFC packages, and support to The clients personnel in the preparation of PIR’s (field generated Project Improvement Requests).

Qualifications

• B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience & Competency

• Experience in Electrical Engineering of HV and LV Equipment.
• Excellent English language skills both written and spoken
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Good experience with electrical installation, operations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and maintenance of HV and LV Equipment
• Have sound experience of HV and LV protection systems (design, operations and maintenance)
• Thorough knowledge of industry codes of practices, inspection and testing procedures of oilfield electrical equipment
• Sound knowledge of international standards for high, medium and low voltage equipment and cables
• Sound knowledge of certification of electrical equipment in hazardous areas
• Experience of functional testing of high, medium and low voltage AC/DC equipment
• Full clean drivers license

Accommodation will be on the site camp and include 3 meals a day and laundry
