Our Client, a Major International Offshore, Subsea Oil & Gas Contractor, has a requirement for a Mechanical / Project Engineer to work on Offshore Operations at their UK Head Offices in Aberdeen.

A shore, office based role, in their Marine Engineering Department, to look after PIPELAY EQUIPMENT, the ideal candidate will need to have a Heavy Mechanical Hydraulic background and pipelay experience would be a great advantage.

HNC / HND or Degree qualified in relevant Engineering or Project Management discipline with appropriate industry experience.
As a minimum HNC / HND with proven practical MARINE or EQUIPMENT experience

Role will involve:-
To perform tasks as requested / instructed by Project Manager or Senior Pipelay Superintendent
Assist in ensuring the efficient execution of project (office and site) based tasks within agreed timeframes and budgets as per Management processes and under the guidance of the Project Manager.
Office/site administrative support associated with project activities
Production or collation and check of technical documents such as procedures, specifications, calculations, work packs
Carry out surveys of existing equipment/asset
Collation of planning schedules to suit activity
Daily control of project financial spreadsheets
Adherence to the Project Management Plan
In addition will undertake specific projects in their own right.
