Petroleum People’s Geoscience practice has been sourced to secure the expertise of an experienced Reservoir Geologist for an operating company in The Gulf. This business profits from a range of producing assets in the region with advanced EOR techniques at the heart of their continued success. With healthy reserves and a strong leadership network in place, they are now seeking to add a seasoned Reservoir Geologist to strengthen one of their Development Teams.As a suitable professional, you will join an integrated subsurface team to assist in ongoing production efforts. You will be responsible for interpreting and integrating seismic data into subsurface characterisation with an emphasis on reservoir geometry, connectivity and heterogeneity. You will liaise with other members of the subsurface team to create 3D reservoir models in Petrel. Risk and uncertainty analysis for volumetric assessment will also be integral to the role. You must be proficient in integrating RCA and SCAL data into saturation height functions, with a strong background in well planning and execution. As this role is aimed at an experienced Geologist, you will naturally have a minimum of 10 years in the Oil and Gas industry. Experience of the Gulf Region would be a considerable asset to any application, although not essential. You will be comfortable in mentoring junior and local members of staff.
