Company Profile
The EPC Sourcing Coordinator reports directly to the Regional Sourcing Operations Leader and shall be responsible foe developing and monitoring procurement plans that provide clear insights into GE's proposed stratgies for securing materials and services to support the EPC project. He will have a dotted reporting line to the EPC Project team, however will be a member of the Sourcing Organisation.
Track Direct Material Fulfilment against the Project Schedule, predominantly on critical path POs.
Report Direct Material Fulfilment against the Project Schedule, predominantly on critical path POs.
o Develop and maintain standard progress report that highlights :
Key supplier completions
Key delays from engineering
Key delays from Suppliers
Key delays from Project Management
Key delays from Customer
Any other Stakeholders
Drive the production of recovery plans when Sourcing activities are being delayed by Suppliers, Engineering, Project Team, Customer and or any other stakeholder.
Liaison with the EPC Project Scheduler and / or Planning and Control Manager so as to maintain current look-ahead reporting to give project regular visibility of short and long term events and key fulfilment issues
Analyse impact of Engineering changes and errors, customer changes and Variation Orders, NCRs / Global Rejection Reports and supplier concessions on critical path items. Highlight impact in progress report to Project Team.
Ensure buyer awareness and support purchase and tender process with regard to customer / project requirements, with specific regard to customer imposed AVL (Approved Vendor Lists) / ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans / Pre-production meetings and any other pertinent project specific requirements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail-oriented.

Ability to travel up to 25% of time.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree (in Business or Technical discipline preferred) or substantial Supply Chain/Sourcing experience.
Knowledge in MS Office, Word, Excel, Purchasing /MRP related software.
