Assistant Driller
Minimum Years of Experience
6 years of experience in drilling and workover operations or a demonstrated progression of relevant assignments.
Qualifications
High School. Spoken and written English.
Job Description:
12 working hours per day, and 35 days on 35 days off.
Ensuring that the assigned duties are planned and performed professionally, safely and in accordance with current rules and company instructions and procedures.
Take the responsibility of mud pump, monitoring circulation system in proper function.
Prepares all items required for carrying out the rig floor operations in advance for effective operation.
Assists Driller in carrying out all assigned jobs and operations.
Supervises rigging and slinging operations during R/U, R/D and moves.
Assists Driller in maintaining all rig floor equipment and handling tools in good working condition.
Maintain a good relationship with drilling foreman and with crew members.
Maintain good communication with 3rd party services.
Assist Driller with staff appraisals.
Required Certifications
Well control certification
H2S
Fire fighting
First Aid
Stuck pipe training
Others
Saudi Arabia Drilling Experience preferred
