Drilling HSE Coordinator
Minimum Years of Experience
Five (5) years of previous onshore rig experience in one (or more) of the following positions is (are) preferred; Derrickman, Assistant Driller, Driller, Night Toolpusher, Toolpusher, Crane Operator
Qualifications/Certifications
1. Appropriate safety professional certifications; International NEBOSH General Certificate, NIOSH Safety and Health Officer, National Safety Council Advanced Safety Certificate, Certificate in OHS Australia Level 4 or equivalent as a minimum.
2. Certified H2S Instructor (as per ANSI 390.1 section 4) with a minimum of eighteen (18) months work experience in a safety role in an H2S environment.
 “Train the Trainer” Instructor Training course (American Society of Safety Engineers); or
 “H2S Alive” Instructor Program (Petroleum Industry Training Service).
3. Fall Protection Instructor and as a minimum has undergone Fall Protection training within the previous thirty six (36) months.
4. Confined Space Entry Instructor and as a minimum has undergone Confined Space Entry Training within the previous thirty six (36) months.
5. Undergone PTW (Permit To Work) training within the previous thirty six (36) months.
6. Undergone Lockout Tagout training within the previous thirty six (36) months.
7. Completed Root Cause Analysis training within the previous thirty six (36) months.
8. Completed incident investigation training and, as a minimum has been actively involved in incident investigations on a regular basis.
9. Current Well Control Certification (Well CAP minimum), Well Control Training, and, as a minimum has completed well control certification once.
10. First Aid and CPR
 American Red Cross, or
 Red Crescent, or
 St. John’s Ambulance, or SAUDI ARAMCO-approved equivalent


(Shall have a completion certificate or membership certificate with this organization).”
Job Description:
 8 hour per day, base in Khobar office but travel rigs site as required.
 Participation in preparation of Company - Contractor Interface document, HSE Plan, Contractor Training program in support of the Authorization to Operate documents prior to field start-up
 Identification and analysis of field drilling & wells hazards and risks taking the necessary actions to mitigate these risks, including stopping unsafe work or unsafe acts and behaviors.
 Work directly with Contractor management on safety concerns, including organizing safety stand-downs and safety Interventions with Contractor management to maintain a safe work environment.
 Participation as required in accident investigations and case management of wells related incidents.
 Maintains accurate well operations accident and incident records and prepares reports to management on Health, Safety and Environmental performance.
 Conducts and participates in reviews, inspections and audits of contractor drilling facilities.
 Provide guidance and coaching to personnel on identification of operational risks and facilitate implementation of measures to minimize risks.
 Provision of coaching for the line and assists with the delivery of the Safety Management System.
 Develop, review and assess the effectiveness of Safety activities, initiatives and systems and identify changes or improvements as necessary.
